Another week in the books, another week of daydreaming about traveling instead of creating your TPS reports. As always, my friend Chris Burkard helps me get through my travel withdrawals, and his amazing sunset from the Aleution Islands in Alaska had to ready to plan a trip to this remote corner of the earth. If you haven’t seen Burkard’s beautiful film from this location, check out the trailer.

I was also happy to find a really great night photo from one of my favorite places in the world, Namibia! I liked it there so much, I even wrote a travel guide.

I ended my choices this week with a powerful image from Ethiopia. I had not known about the whipping ceremonies that are a tradition in the various tribes until we did a visual story on Ethiopia. The images are powerful, and this photo by Xinxing Chen coveys the raw emotion and way of life for the tribes in Ethiopia.
