We have some exciting news to share about this year’s 4th annual Global Photo Walk. We’re thrilled to be joining forces with Red Bull Photography for the 500px Red Bull Photography Global Photo Walk and we can now reveal what will make this year’s event even more action-packed: the chance to win a trip for two to attend the Red Bull Illume Winners Awards Ceremony on September 28, 2016 at the Art Institute in Chicago — one of the world’s greatest parties!
How do you enter this awesome contest? There are four keys to success here:
1. Join a photo walk near you.
2. Take a minute to register for the 500px Red Bull Photography Global Photo Walk Mobile Contest at the Red Bull Illume contest page.
3. Have a mobile phone. All photos submitted to the contest must be taken on a mobile device like a smartphone or tablet.
4. Embrace the Action & Adventure theme on the day of the 500px Red Bull Photography Global Photo Walk! The panel of four judges from 500px and Red Bull Photography want to see that contestants sought out adventure on the day of the walk. From a technical standpoint, they’ll also be judging entries based on composition, creativity, and the artistic perspective captured by the photographer.
Since we want you to get out in the action of the photo walk on September 17, only photos taken on that day are eligible for the contest. If you can’t choose just one photo to submit to the contest, don’t worry, we relate to that, so every photographer can submit up to five photos shot on a mobile device during the 500px Red Bull Photography Global Photo Walk.
The one winning photographer will receive a trip for herself/himself and a guest to attend the Red Bull Illume Winner Awards Ceremony at the Art Institute of Chicago on September 28, 2016. The prize includes roundtrip economy class flights, two nights accommodation, transfers to/from the airport, and transfer to/from the ceremony.
