Drone photography is picking up steam as the little recreational multi-rotor copters become more and more affordable and easier to use.

It’s safe to say that DJI broke through whatever “glass ceiling” was at the top of this industry over the past year or two, and countless companies have followed them through the hole… even GoPro officially announced that they would be getting in on the drone game.

Over the next year we expect the number of 4K stills pulled out of drone footage and just straight forward drone photography to increase in a big way on 500px; so, in the meantime, we thought we’d pay homage to those early adopters who are ahead of the game.
