You won’t see photos of the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, or any of the usual San Francisco tourist spots here. Last Friday on April 18th, we hosted our first 500px San Francisco Photo Walk, and it was a lot of fun. A band of 500px community members joined our co-founder Evgeny Tchebotarev (who also flew in from our Toronto HQ) for a scenic stroll, cameras in hand.
“I didn’t expect that many people [would show up], so that was very humbling to see.” says Evgeny. “People came from everywhere! One guy was from Toronto. Another guy, Johan Rosén is a pilot, and was there for a few days before flying to Sweden. Tristan O’Tierney, co-founder of Square, was there too. Very international team, I’d say! The Photo Walk lasted six hours, and it ended with a dinner.”
