Happy Friday! While the rest of my friends back home celebrated the long holiday weekend, I have been living the beach bum life in Zanzibar, an island paradise off of the coast of Tanzania. But on the rare occasion that the island has both power and internet, I always search 500px for inspiration as to where I should book my next plane ticket.

Photographer Andreas Wonisch reminds me why The Dolomites needs to be seen at least once in life, while Tanner Seablom made me miss home (albeit briefly) with his beautiful adventure photo from Pt. Reyes National Seashore in Northern California.

Travel is my life, and it pains me to think of the events that happened on September 11th, 14 years ago. Working professionals, commuting passengers, and families embarking on a holiday were all innocent victims that terrible day. As a nation, as a world, we will never forget the innocent people who lost their lives on 9-11, as well as the brave men and women who fight for us to keep our freedoms. We thank you for your service.

Keep the incredible travel photos coming 500pxers! If you submit a photo that you think would make a great addition to either of our Top 10s, be sure to add the tag #ResourceTravel500px!
