We’re very excited to announce that in a few weeks we will be launching a new feature: Galleries.

Galleries will allow everyone to curate content based on their personal visual style. 500px members will be able to group any public photos based on any chosen theme together, making them more discoverable within the 500px community.

With our first iteration of Galleries, you’ll be able to:

  1. Set a title
  2. Set a description
  3. Set a cover photo
  4. Make your Gallery public or private
  5. Order the photos in your Gallery any way you like

We’re doing this because we want to make sure your photos get the most exposure possible.

One complaint that we’ve heard from our community is that once a photo is uploaded to 500px, it rarely has a chance to be viewed or engaged with again after the first 24 hours. We’re excited by the potential of Galleries to resurface older content to new members who can engage with it again and again! This means your photos will continue to circulate within the community long after you share them the first time.

We can’t wait to share this new feature with you all. Stay tuned for the launch in the coming weeks!
