Uber enables people on the move from many different places and perspectives. But in its #BackseatView series, Uber shares spontaneous moments as seen from the same point of view: the back seat. Each is a snapshot captured during rides in Ubers all around the world.
We asked 500px contributors to capture and share their own #BackseatView experiences and received incredible submissions from around the world. Explore these 10 #BackseatView moments taken in Ubers from different roads and perspectives, brought together by the back seat.

Photographers like Rebecca Markovic spoke to life as a backseat driver in her winning submissions, ‘Always a Back Seat Driver’ and ‘Always in the Back Seat – 2nd Edit’:
“I am 30 years old and have never learned how to drive. Growing up in NYC, I never needed to learn. Now I live in Texas and get around with Uber all the time. Because I am always in the back seat, I take a lot of photos of scenery from there, sometimes sticking my camera out the window. This is my point of view: always in the back, never in the front.”
Uber also took us to Greece with ‘Backseat view over Greek Island Marina’ taken at Simi Island, Dodecanese, and ‘Backseat view over Mediterranean sea coast’ in Rodes Island, both by Anna Ivanova:
