After a month exploring the entire country of Cuba, I am back home on the sunny California coast. Cuba is a completely different world from Northern California, and after a month, I started to get just a tad bit homesick.

Soon after I returned to San Francisco, I saw an incredible aerial photograph of Highway 1 from my friend Barry Blanchard, and I am once again reminded that, no matter how many airline miles I rack up, some of the most beautiful scenes and exciting adventures are right out of my front door.
