Earlier today, tragedy struck the French capital. In what is being labeled as the deadliest terror attack to hit France in decades, armed gunmen killed twelve people and critically injured three others.

Two of 500px’s own team are French, one based there, and countless 500px users call The City of Lights home. Our thoughts, support, and prayers go out to the people of Paris on this trying day, and especially the friends and families of the victims.

On a day marked by darkness, we extol the beauty of this great city and the resiliency of its people:
