It’s a big year for the US National Park Service; today marks its 100th birthday! There are 407 parks that make up the NPS, which stretch across 84 million acres of American land. The parks are a perfect way to explore the great outdoors and, as any photographer is well aware, serve as a beautiful photography subject.
Today, we’re celebrating the beauty of these parks with 11 incredible shots from the 500px community, taken everywhere from Glacier National Park in Montana to Yosemite National Park in California to Zion National Park in Utah to Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii.
