In the US of A and Europe we still have hours to go until we ring in 2015 with much revelry, merriment and perhaps a midnight smooch. But in Australia, the New Year has already arrived.
Two hours and two minutes ago (as of the very moment I write this sentence) Sydney celebrated the New Year, and already photos are rolling in from 500px photographers down under.
Chances are good many more photos of the spectacular fireworks display in Sydney harbor will go live over the next several hours and days, but we thought we’d reward the first to the game by posting the images newswire style as they go up.
So, from our 500px friends who spent the last several hours setting up their shots in Sydney, Happy New Year!
