If you want to photograph flowers, you would do well to take a leaf out of 500px photographer Wei-San Ooi‘s book. In the nearly half-decade I’ve been writing professionally about photography, I can count on a single hand the number of times I’ve written about flowers images, but Wei-San Ooi’s profile stopped me in my tracks the other day.

The breadth of work on her 500px account is impossible to encompass in a single post (at last count, she had posted 955 photos in her public profile!), but there there are definitely standout series like her macro photos of anemones and water drops, or her artful images of cherry blossoms arranged just so.
