There is something truly magical about a Wisteria tree (or, more accurately, vine). Cascading purple blooms hang down from man-made or natural supports, and give off an aroma that reminds one of grapes.
They’re also undeniably beautiful, ranging in color from purple to blue.
One of the most famous of these trees—located in Ashikaga Flower Park in Tochigi, Japan—is 144 years old, covers almost half an acre, and is considered one of the most beautiful Wisterias in existence:
