500px users do a lot more than take pictures. Sure, many are professional or semi-pro photographers whose income is dependent on their camera, but more often than not they have day jobs that keep them busy between shooting sessions.
For our latest Photo Quest, we wanted to get a peek at those jobs; we wanted to slam those two worlds together. And so we told you to take your camera to work and show us what it is you do when you’re not shooting.
A few thousand submissions later, one thing has become very clear: you are all incredibly creative. Whether you work in an office or a studio, a cubicle or the great outdoors, you’ve managed to capture your day-to-day work in beautiful images.
So, as the quest prepares to wrap up in a few days time, we thought we’d collect some of our favorite submissions and share 30 cool and creative things 500pxers do for their day jobs.
There are woodworkers…

Some people climb on beer tanks…
others climb into a desk chair in the morning with a cup of coffee.
There was a geologist…
a seamstress…
a student…
and a watchmaker.
Some of you work high up in the sky…
and others work deep underwater.
We’ve even got a baker!
And, last but definitely not least, we’ve got … you guessed it … photographers.
