One of the main perks of upgrading to a 500px Plus or Awesome account is the wonderful world of Sets that this opens up. No longer do all your uploads have to exist on your public profile, now they can be broken down into discreet chunks—which can be set to public OR private—that you can share individually.
Photos, especially if you dabble in many different types of photography, ask to be broken up into specific albums and that’s exactly what Sets allows Plus and Awesome members to do.
This got us wondering: what are the most popular Sets on 500px? What sets are attracting the most eyes, (in terms of unique pageviews) and helping photographers better show off their work? The answer, after a few hours of wrestling with our analytics elves, are listed in the (Not Safe For Work!) Top 25 below. Enjoy!
Top 25 Active Sets on 500px
A note before we dive in: some of these sets were incredibly close in terms of pageviews, to the point where their order could be interchangeable. The most accurate part of the list is the top 5, which were pretty distinct. Keri Wilk’s poopnado (read that viral story here), however, is FAR AND AWAY the most popular set ever on 500px.
Yes, pretty naked girls are popular… but even they can’t compare with what Keri called a “poopsplosion.” Go figure.
