It’s time for another edition of This Week in Popular, our weekly countdown of the top 25 most popular photos on 500px. After two weeks of landscape-dominated Top 25s, people struck back this week! Portraits and even a few bird photos help add some much-appreciated diversity to or countdown.
In fact, it’s the bird photos that impressed us most this week. Both the header image above by FuYi Chen and “Kiss of the Vampire” by Marco Redaelli are the kinds of shots bird photographer dream of!
Editor’s Note: There’s also one Not Safe for Work image in the bunch, but it was too beautiful to leave out, hence the NSFW tag. Proceed with caution.
As always, our congratulations go out to the hard-working 500pxers who went out and captured these amazing shots and made it to the top of Popular this week. And if you didn’t make the list this time around, keep on shooting! Each week a score of new photographers break into the Top 25—next week could be your turn.
