We’ve recently fallen in love with the work of a young Italian photographer named Mattia Bonavida. From the tender age of 18, he’s been publishing stunning landscapes on 500px—often featuring himself or one of his friends in the frame—and lately each of his images has captured our attention.

Based out or northern Italy, the shots he posts seem to encapsulate so many emotions and experiences: from solitude, to wonder, to fear, to awe, to joy, to adventure, and much more.
