500px Prime is a premium marketplace for commercial photography licensing and was built to highlight photographers from the 500px community. Our philosophy at 500px has always been that photographers come first, and you see it in everything we do.

All of 500px Prime’s inspiring images are directly sourced from the 500px community made up of talented photographers like you. 500px Prime offers one of the highest royalty rates in the industry: 70% net for every license sold. See your beautiful and original photography featured by some of the biggest brands in the world. We strongly encourage you to submit your 500px photos for commercial licensing on 500px Prime.

Join the 500px Community
Join our engaging community of over 4 million users by setting up an account on 500px.com. Becoming a member means sharing your photos with the community, discovering photographs, gaining exposure, learning about photography techniques and connecting with like-minded people.

Upload Your Photos
Photographs submitted to 500px Prime are always protected and no one will be able to access your high-res photo unless sold on 500px Prime. Low-res watermarked versions of your photographs can be uploaded to 500px but your Store will only accept photographs with these requirements:

  • At least 3000px wide or tall
  • Saved at best quality JPEG setting
  • No watermarks or digital borders

Pro tip: To make the process even easier, embed your meta data into the file so keywords and titles are automatically imported. Check out our article on effective keywording.

Enable Your Store
Once your files have been uploaded, enable your store and submit the licensing forms for your photos.

Model Releases
Provide a model release for commercial licensing if you have recognizable people, or if people are the main focus of your image. Check out our article on working with model releases.

Repeat for each photograph submitted to 500px Prime.

You’re done!
Once your photos are on 500px Prime, they will be in front of publishers, advertisers, and marketers. Share your photos with the world!
