Most of the time, following 500px on Twitter, Facebook, or any of the other social networks means a constant stream of beautiful photography and inspiration. Not a bad status quo. But sometimes we kick it up a notch and have a little bit of fun, too.
On October 8th, we decided to make Throwback Thursday a photographic affair on Twitter, and asked you to answer the question: “What was the first camera you ever owned?”

You guys delivered in spades!!! Some shared pictures of their first cameras, some waxed eloquent in 140 characters, some were hilariously embarrassed, and others shared touching stories about passing that same camera down to your children so they could discover photography like you did. Even our co-founder Evgeny got in on the action!
