For those of us north of the equator, today marks the first day of Winter. Autumn with its characteristic reds, yellows, and oranges is gone, replaced by the whites, blues, grays, and deep forest greens that will keep us company for the next 3 months.

This collection—part of a Featured gallery you should definitely check out!—is our little ode to Winter, welcoming it in with open arms and, just maybe, a steaming mug of hot cocoa to drive away the chill.
