After 40 days on the road, I am finally back in foggy San Francisco. My journey started with my buddy Evgeny (founder of your beloved 500px) as we joined landscape photo god Iurie Belegurschi in Iceland for the #500pxIcelandTour. I have made some teaser films of what we were up to out there. Check out the latest instalment over on Resource Travel.
I then headed to Tanzania to lead a workshop for The Giving Lens. It was an incredible adventure, and we were lucky enough to photograph 4 out of the Big 5 in just our first two hours on safari in the Serengeti.
But being home after such a long trip gives me time to jump back onto 500px and really dig deep for the world’s most incredible travel photos. It seems every week when I put these selections together, my bucket list grows by 5 new locations. And I thank you for that inspiration. This is why we travel. This is why we share our photos. To help inspire others to get out and see the world, and to embrace those epic, but grueling 40 day adventures.
