We’re excited to share that some new updates are now live! These changes are designed to enhance your experience, especially around Quest activities and awards recognition. Here’s what’s new:
Profile Enhancements for Quest Winners
- A crown icon now appears on the profile avatars of Quest winners (both 500px and PulsePx Quests). This crown represents the most recent month’s winner status and will remain visible for 30 days. Past winners received crowns at launch, but they will expire unless new wins are achieved. You’ll find an explanation of this rule on the Profile page.
- A new Awards Status section now displays your total awards alongside likes and followers. Clicking on the total opens a detailed list of your awards, linking to the winning photos.
Awards Display on Photo Cards and Pages
- Winning photos now feature an awards icon on photo cards across all feeds. Hovering over the icon reveals the three most recent awards.
- On photo detail pages, the awards an image has won appear in the info panel, and shared previews can now include these accolades.
PulsePx Photo Syncing for Quest Winners
- If you’ve linked your 500px and PulsePx accounts, any photos that win a Quest on PulsePx now automatically sync to your 500px Profile.
- These synced photos will appear in the Quest Winning Photos section of the Explore page and on your Profile, giving your work more exposure.
- If the photo already exists in your 500px account, it won’t be duplicated.
Quests on Explore Home Page
- Recent and featured Quests now have greater visibility on the Explore Home Page, similar to the mobile app experience.
